Naryan was wearing a black dinner suit from Tailors of Distinction – with a black suede bow tie for the ceremony and a black bow tie with silver flowers for the reception. The Location We had our ceremony and reception at Glen Ewin Estate. We loved that we could hold the ceremony by the lake and then move inside the Pulpshed for the reception. We were married under a gold arbour from Paper Carousel, and the Pulpshed was decorated with tea light candles and lots of flowers. Roaming canapes followed the ceremony; inside we had long banquet-style tables with shared food – and lots of it! The Styling We went for quite a classic style. The afternoon was much like a garden party, with fresh blooms and white finishes. It took me a while to decide on floral arrangements, but with the help of our florist Irena from Wild Ivy Studio we chose a green bunch of magnolia leaves, and white and deep purple calla lilies. The bouquets were similar to the table arrangements. The Soundtrack As I walked down the aisle some of my friends, who are ex-choristers from the Australian Girls Choir, sang How Long Will I Love You by Ellie Goulding and then a slowed-down version of Disclosure’s Latch for the signing of the register. Naryan’s friend Ben Williams played acoustic guitar and sang following the ceremony. During the reception Marcus Quinn was the DJ. The afternoon was like a garden party, with fresh blooms and white finishes.
