South Australian Style Magazine : South Australian Style 35 Spring
82 SA STYLE SPRING 2O18 / WEDDINGS #LOVE / The Planning I had a lot of help from friends and family, which was great. Our process was to write a huge wish list at the start and we were constantly updating, changing and crossing things off when we’d change our minds or lock something in. We also flicked through lots of wedding mags to get ideas. The Dress A friend from school, Greta from GretaKate, designed and made my couture gown – the Friday night fittings were very special! The beaded skirt was complemented by a low back, v-neck bodice. Emma& Naryan Hit107’s breakfast newsreader, Emma Charlton, invites us inside her wedding in the picturesque Adelaide Hills. PHOTOGRAPHY LUKE SIMON PHOTOGRAPHY The Proposal After a night spent ice skating at the Ice Arena, Naryan and I went to Jolleys Boathouse for dinner. While we were out my younger sister Megan got to work lining the hallway of our home with candles and rose petals; when we arrived home I was led out the back and greeted by Naryan who was standing under the clothesline, which was completely lit up with fairy lights. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
