That's what drew me to this issue's cover star, 20 year-old Lily Nova. Lily was swept up into the world of modelling at the age of just 16 and, despite being "incredibly shy", she pushed herself to attend that very first meeting with Brigette from Finesse Models (who discovered her in the audience at Adelaide Fashion Festival in 2013). In the four years since Lily has experienced incredible success, walking for the likes of Gucci (seven times!) and mixing with modelling elite (Kate Moss). But it's not only Lily's drive and resumé that impresses – it's her humble, gentle, grateful nature. And her ability to encourage diversity in fashion. Read more about her journey (and check out the incredible shots of her modelling Paolo Sebastian in the midst of an Adelaide Symphony Orchestra rehearsal!) on page 16. Of course, we're also celebrating spring fashion, and Adelaide Fashion Festival. This year's face of AFF, Hollie Brown, features in our fashion shoot (for athleisure inspiration check out the images on page 44), and we uncover some new local creatives in our six page AFF feature. These Festival newcomers specialise in ready to wear resort wear and are going to be the next big thing(s)! Find out more on page 32. Plus, we drop in on Port Power captain Travis Boak (on the very day he released his new underwear label, Rogers) for a tour of his beachside home (page 68). There are also two beautiful South Australian weddings, great SA short stays, 25 pages of spring fashion and much more. Enjoy! Editor's top picks (clockwise): Sass & Bide Burnside Village, day tripper earrings, $190; Witchery Rundle Mall, dayssi devove lace blouse, $179.95; St Agni, hennie rattan slide, $149; Sportsgirl Westfield Marion & Norwood Place, quinn circle bag, $49.95.
